Plot
The movie begins with Anjini (Nausheen Ali Sardar), a violin teacher who lives with her husband Rajeev (Akshay Kapoor) in a huge mansion that belongs to her late parents. Rajeev is a struggling businessman who is facing financial troubles and is frustrated with his marriage. He asks Anjini to sell the mansion and give him the money to invest in his business, but she refuses as the mansion is her only connection to her past. To help her husband, she decides to rent out a portion of the mansion to a paying guest.
This brings Sanjay (Aashish Chaudhary) into their lives, a young singer who performs at a local pub. Sanjay soon notices the tension between Anjini and Rajeev, and sympathizes with Anjini. He also finds her attractive and tries to woo her. Anjini initially resists his advances, but gradually falls in love with him. She starts having an affair with him behind Rajeev's back.
However, things are not as simple as they seem. Sanjay is not really in love with Anjini, but is actually working for Rajeev. Rajeev has hired him to seduce Anjini and then blackmail her for money. Rajeev plans to use the money to pay off his debts and start a new life with his mistress. Sanjay agrees to this plan as he is also in debt and needs money desperately.
But their plan goes awry when Rajeev discovers that Anjini has a hidden safe in the mansion that contains a lot of cash and jewelry. He decides to double-cross Sanjay and take all the money for himself. He confronts Anjini and accuses her of cheating on him. He also reveals that he knows about the safe and demands that she gives him the combination. Anjini tries to explain herself and begs for forgiveness, but Rajeev does not listen. He attacks her and tries to force her to open the safe.
Anjini manages to escape from Rajeev and runs to Sanjay for help. She tells him everything that happened and asks him to save her from Rajeev. Sanjay pretends to be concerned and agrees to help her. He tells her to pack her bags and leave with him. He also tells her that he knows where the safe is and that they can take the money and run away together.
Anjini trusts Sanjay and follows his instructions. She opens the safe and gives him the money. But as soon as he gets the money, he betrays her too. He reveals that he was working for Rajeev all along and that he never loved her. He also tells her that he has killed Rajeev and framed her for his murder. He then shoots her and leaves her to die.
Anjini survives the gunshot wound and calls for help. The police arrive at the scene and find Rajeev's dead body, Anjini's blood-stained clothes, and a gun with her fingerprints on it. They arrest Anjini for Rajeev's murder and take her away.
Sanjay thinks that he has gotten away with everything, but he is wrong. The police officer who is investigating the case is Tanya (Achint Kaur), who is also Anjini's friend and student's mother. Tanya suspects that there is more to the case than meets the eye, and starts digging deeper into it. She finds out about Sanjay's involvement in the plot and tracks him down.
She confronts Sanjay at his hideout and tells him that she knows everything. She also tells him that Anjini is alive and has confessed everything to her. She then arrests Sanjay and takes him to the police station. She also clears Anjini's name and helps her recover from her ordeal.
The movie ends with Anjini being released from the hospital and reunited with her friend Tanya. She thanks Tanya for saving her life and exposing the truth. She also says that she has learned her lesson and will never trust anyone blindly again. She decides to start a new life with the money from the safe, which Tanya has recovered for her. She also decides to keep the mansion as a reminder of her past and a symbol of her strength.
